Working Principle

Metal Eddy Current Separator is designed based on the principle that conductor can produce induced current in high frequency alternating magnetic field. When the machine works, it will produce a high frequency alternating strong magnetic field on the surface of the sorting magnetic roller. When the non-ferrous metal of the conductor enters the magnetic field sorting area, it will induce a eddy current inside the metal block. The eddy current itself will produce a magnetic field in the opposite direction of the magnetic field. The non-ferrous metal (such as copper and aluminum) will leap forward along its conveying direction due to the repulsive force of the magnetic field, thus realizing Separation with other non-metallic materials, to achieve the purpose of separation, the main area of separation effect judgment is based on the material conductivity and density ratio value of the material is easier to separate.

Components of eddy current separator

The eddy current equipment is composed of two parts: control and main body. The main part mainly consists of frame, motor, distributor, separator (the core part of the equipment) permanent magnetic drum, conveyor belt, conveyor drive drum, reducer and protective cover.

Usage of Eddy Current Separator

1. Before using the eddy current separator, operators need to check whether the parts of the equipment are tightened completely to prevent the parts from loosening and falling off during the peeling process, which will affect the normal operation. When delivering waste metal waste to the equipment, the equipment shall be idled to make sure there is no abnormality, and then all kinds of waste shall be delivered in turn.

2. 1. Check and tidy up in time. Clean the machine at the end of each day. Check whether the screws of each part are loose or there are worn parts, such as claws and screens. 2. Fill with grease, usually install the cap oil cup on the bearing. Under normal circumstances, as long as the oil cup cover rotates 1 / 4 turn every 2 hours, the grease in the cup can be pressed into the bearing. For closed bearings, grease can be added every 300 hours. After long-term use, if the grease is replaced, clean the bearing and replace with new grease. When the equipment is working, the temperature of the bearing shall not exceed 40 ° C. If the bearing temperature continues to rise under normal operating conditions, the cause should be found and the fault resolved.

3. Carefully clean the material to be damaged. It is forbidden to mix copper, iron, lead and other metal parts, large stones and other sundries into the damage room.
